吉祥寺のギャラリー、Shell102 でのグループ展に参加します。
１９人の作家に配布された315x315mmの箱。これを部屋と捉え、それぞれの作品をつくりました。
あたしはとくに、このコロナ禍という特殊な時代に経験した「部屋」を表現しました。

その部屋の中でわたしの思考はどんどん内側へ。そしてわたしはふくらんで、あふれかえり、部屋はわたしでいっぱいになりながら、同時に想いはこれまで以上に部屋の外にいるひとを求めている。空をみては、その誰かも同じ空を見てるかもしれないとおもう。

コロナ禍はいつになく深刻な状況で。各地では台風や大雨がたくさんのひとに被害をもたらしてる。あたしは絵を描いてる。

I’m taking part in a group show at gallery 102 in Kichijoji. A box was handed by the gallery to each of the 19 artists. The box was a metaphor for a room, and we were to make an artwork with this concept.

I experienced a “room” where my thoughts were expanding and more and more directed towards myself - where “I” was repeated and spilled over. In the room that was being filled by myself, I was also desperately wanting someone outside. While the room was keeping me from the world, the sky reminded me that we are in the same big room together. Every time I looked at the sky, I hoped they be watching the same sky.
