調布で３人展が開催されます。
黒木ユタカさん、新目 惠さん、わたしの３人です。

調布駅ビルのトリエ京王調布に壁画を描かせていただいたり、毎年窓ガラスの絵を描かせていただいたり、駅前広場におおきな絵を掲出していただいたりと、調布にはとてもお世話になっています。

「調布の人々」というお題をいただいたので、調布に足を運び、調布を歩きながら、いろんな人を描いています。その中でたくさんの良い人たちにめぐり会い、調布って良い町なんやなぁと感じています。今日はどんなひとに出会えるかな。。

会期が長いので、夏真っ盛りのある日、気分転換にお越しいただけたら嬉しいです。

I will be showing my work at a 3 people exhibition in Chofu along with the artists, Yutaka Kuroki and Megumi Aratame. I was given the theme of “people in Chofu”, so I have been walking around the town to depict the people I find and meet. I’ve stumbled upon so many of nice people in the process, and as I will be drawing until right before the installation, I’m secretly excited to meeting more.

There will be workshops and artist talks. Cross talk will be in Japanese, but for my gallery talk I will try my best to translate if there is anyone who doesn’t understand Japanese. Please keep in mind that my English is very very rusty… For more details see here.
