2024年1月の地震がきっかけで、同じ年の2月から能登にボランティアで行きはじめました。Love for Nipponというボランティア団体の炊き出しや物資提供を手伝いながら、この団体が開催するイベントで似顔絵やさんをさせていただいたりしていました。
春くらいから風景の絵を描きはじめ、この2年ほどで数十枚の絵がたまり、この絵たちを通じていろんな人たちとの出会いがありました。
それを今、本にまとめています。

本展は、原画の展示販売と、この本の発表の場にしたいとおもっています。

通っているうちにすっかり能登が好きになってしまったわたしのように、わたしの絵を見て能登に興味をもってくれる人がいたら嬉しいです。

週末は能登についてや本についてゆるいトークをします。

　前澤夏子ちゃんは、能登での活動で出会いました。
　伊藤拓海くんは福島出身で、去年珠洲市に移住しました。東日本大震災で被災した経験から、災害や防災をアートに昇華するbeatfic experimentというレーベルを主宰しているクリエイティブディレクターでもあります。
　能登での活動や人との出会い、能登で暮らすことなどについて話します。

I’m having a solo show in Kunitachi. This show will focus on the drawings I’ve done in Noto over the past couple of years. I am also working on an art book with these drawings, accompanied by stories, which I’m hoping to share with you at the exhibition.

I started going to Noto in February 2024 to help distributing food and supplies for people in the earthquake-affected areas. After a while, I started drawing landscapes in between volunteer work. Through drawing, I was lucky to meet some really wonderful people — curious and warmhearted local people.

I hope this show might make you want to visit Noto too. Please come!
