先日、表参道に位置するw closet本社のショールームにて、大きな絵を描いてきました！絵のモチーフになっているのは原宿キャットストリートにある路面店の看板の見える風景。色は企画担当の佐藤さんといっしょに、w closetに合う柔らかい色合いに決めました。
絵が完成するまでの一部始終を映像に収めてくれたのは、おなじみのAmi Ide。コーヒーフェスティバルや展示会場などで、いつもあたしの映像をカッコ良くつくってくれています。AmiちゃんはAYENというユニットで音楽活動をしていて、最近はソロでの活動を中心に、R&Bシンガーソングライターとして人気を集めてます。今回の映像の音楽ももちろん彼女。こちらから他の映像作品もみられます。
w closetさんとは、春にイベントの開催も計画中です。そちらも近づいてきたらまたお知らせします。今のところ決まっているのは、「w closet + コーヒーやさんのHOOP + あたし、でイベントやる」くらいです。笑

I created a mural in w closet's showroom in Omotesando. w closet has a store on Cat Street, and the drawing depicts the view where you can spot their big sign above. We talked closely together to decide what kind of drawing they wanted and chose the colors together so it would look nice with their products.
The cool video was shot (of course) by Ami Ide, who is a good friend of mine and has shot a few other great videos on me throughout this year. Ami is a R&B singer-songwriter. While She sings in AYEN, her R&B duo with DJ Yen, she's also starting to focus more on her solo performance recently. Watch more of her video works here.
w closet has invited me to be part of an event at their Harajuku store, happening this coming spring. We haven't planned any details yet, but you know it's going to be fun. The event will also feature HOOP, Osaka-based company which introduces quality coffee from San Francisco.
